| Customer Reviews: If you loved FFXii, you'll HATE this! March 11, 2010 Mr. B. T. Metcalfe (UK) 0 out of 9 found this review helpful
RPG lovers who enjoy towns, NPC's, shops, developing characters and having choice then this will be a huge disappointment. This is Mario bro's linearity to the extreme. After 5 hours of play you only need to use the X button. No chance to run off and explore, no characters to talk to, no interesting items, cool weapons or side quests. If you want great graphics, then watch Avatar, who cares. This game is NOT an RPG. Apparently it "opens up" after 20 or so hours. I'm not sure i can play it for that long. The story is confusing, the characters in the story are all childlike and not believable. I have anticipated this games for 3 years cos FFXii was one the best games ever. Everything that i liked about the last game has been erased from this one. The designers have concentrated on glitz and glamour without the feel of a journey, an exploration, a challenge or soul. Don't buy this, save your money, play oblivion again. I am so gutted, the technology may have moved on but the soul is lost. I am still stunned by how wrong they have got this, its all style and no substance, no brain is required to play this, no autonomy and most of all NO FUN!
